Hi
My name is Robert Conroy and I will be your child's Physical Education teacher.
I completed my undergraduate work in education at Florida State University and love everything garnet and gold. GO NOLES !!! I completed my Masters in Education at Indiana University Southeast and hope to pursue a Doctorate in Human Movement Studies with a specialization in performance psycology at some time in the future.
This year is my 20th with Jefferson County Public Schools and my 16th year at Lowe Elementary where I am also the Cross Country and Running Club coach.
A little about my personal life. I am a single parent living in Oldham County with my two children Skylar and Aiden. My daughter Skylar is taking a gap couple of years from Morehead State University where she studied Elementary Education. My son Aiden presents with multiple disabilities. He is Autistic, has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, a congenital heart defect, and compromised vision. Despite everything he has been through he is one of the happiest and most awesome little guys you could ever meet. Aiden is currently in High School at North Oldham and wants to pursue computer design in gaming or automotive design.
When I get a little spare time I love anything athletic, both playing and spectating. I love traveling with my family and getting outdoors. I also love to draw, paint, and work with digital imagery.
I look forward to a great year ahead at Lowe and it will be an honor teaching your children.
